Warranty Information

Many of our watches are covered by some portion of the original manufacturer’s warranty. When some or all of the original warranty has elapsed it is our policy to warranty the watch to ensure there is a minimum of twelve months warranty from date of purchase. Indeed many of our watches will have considerably longer warranties remaining with the manufacturers. This should be clear on our website or can be explained if you enquire. In the event of a watch needing to be returned under manufacturers warranty we advise that customers contact us first so we can advise what steps to take.  If the manufacturers warranty has elapsed and the Mark Worthington Jewellers Limited warranty is in force, or the watch has a Mark Worthington Jewellers warranty from date of purchase, the watch must be returned to us. In every instance, contact with us is essential prior to arranging an appointment to drop the watch off or dispatching the watch, so we can make an appointment, advise on the problem and method of dispatch etc. If the watch manufacturers warranty has elapsed prior to purchase Mark Worthington Jewellers offer a twelve month warranty from date of purchase.

Conditions of the 12 Month Mark Worthington Jewellers Mechanical Warranty

  • The warranty does NOT cover accidental damage, batteries, the strap or the buckle. Our warranty is considered void if the crystal lens has been broken or damaged, if the watch shows signs if impact or misuse.
  • The warranty becomes void if the back of the watch is opened within the warranty period without the authorisation of Mark Worthington Jewellers Ltd. The warranty is void if the watch has been left in the hands if others who we suspect have intervened.  Watches under any warranty that is with ourselves MUST be returned to us immediately. Any further damage occurring due to a delay in returning it to us is not covered.
