Brand New Rado Watches: Official UK Stockist

Luxury watchmaker Rado was established in Switzerland in 1917; they were the first company to produce a scratch-resistant timepiece. It was known as the DiaStar and was introduced by the company in 1962.

Rado started out as Schlup & Co and was founded by the Schlup brothers. For its first forty years, the company focused on watch movements but in 1957 introduced its first collection of in-house produced timepieces. These were known as the Rado Collection.

Rado watches use very specific materials in their production, such as sapphire crystal, ceramic, and carbide. Today the company employs almost five hundred people and produces around half-a-million watches annually. The 1962 DiaStar is still produced and is part of the D-Star Collection; it is now known as ‘original’.

Rado watches are synonymous with beauty, style, and exquisite craftsmanship. This itself makes them such collectible timepieces. If you have ever dreamed of owning a Rado watch, you will be pleased to know that Mark Worthington Jewellers has a stunning collection of these watches.

Our collection contains some of the most beautiful Rado watches, each with original papers and boxes, making them the ideal gift for yourself or someone you love.
