Oris Watches

Founded in 1904 by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian, Oris is a Swiss luxury watchmaking company located in the town of Holstein. Within just seven years of inception, the company had grown from having just 24 workers in its first factory to employing more than 300 people from the town.

Oris continued to expand and, by the 1960s, was among the top ten watch producers in Switzerland. In 1966, Oris started production of probably its most famous automatic movement, the cal. 645. Fast forward to 1991 and the company developed the cal.581 complication movement, which had a variety of special features, including moon phase display.

Oris’ collection of mechanical watches is classified under four subsections: Culture, Aviation, Diving, and Motor Sport. The brand is extremely popular with celebrities and sports people and is now well known for its use of top-quality materials designed to stand the test of time.

If you are looking for a reliable and sturdy watch that also looks and feels great, Oris is a wonderful choice. As the company only produces mechanical watches, you will be sure of getting a timepiece that has been precision made with exquisite attention to detail.

At Mark Worthington Jewellers, you can browse a huge range of stunning Oris watches at competitive prices.
