Used Chanel Watches

Chanel is a fashion house established by Coco Chanel in Paris in 1909. The brand started out as a millinery shop, with Coco Chanel creating her headpieces for the hunting and sporting elite. It was here that she met polo player and socialite Arthur ‘Boy’ Capel, who financed her independent millinery shop in 1910. In 1913, Chanel began selling sports clothes for women. The brand went from strength to strength, eventually becoming one of the top fashion houses in France. In 1987, Chanel introduced wristwatches, debuting with the Premiere. This was followed in 1995 with the Matelassé. Both watches were hugely popular, but it was the introduction of the Chanel J12 unisex watches in 2000 that really catapulted the brand into the spotlight in terms of luxury watches. This line of wristwatches featured four different sizes of watch face. In 2008, Chanel collaborated with luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet to develop the exclusive Chanel AP-3125 clockwork. Chanel watches are synonymous with quality and luxury, so it will come as no surprise that they are hugely popular.
