Used Cartier Watches

Cartier, or Société Cartier as it is officially known, is a luxury French goods company that sells high-end watches and jewellery. The company was founded by Louis-Francois Cartier in France in 1847, and the headquarters remain in Paris today. Cartier is a popular brand with royalty, with Britain’s King Edward VII referring to the company as “the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers”. In 1904, the king issued a royal warrant to the company after ordering 27 tiaras from the brand for his coronation in 1902. This was followed by royal warrants from other monarchies in Greece, Spain, Belgium, and Egypt, among others.

The company remained family-owned until 1972, at which time Cartier Paris was purchased by a group of investors. The group then purchased Cartier London and Cartier New York a few years later, with all three becoming Cartier Monde in 1979. Cartier now has more than 200 stores and operates in 125 countries. It remains one of the most exclusive watch brands in the world, and Mark Worthington Jewellers now give you the chance to own a fabulous Cartier watch at a much-reduced price. We stock a collection of pre-owned Cartier pieces that would make the perfect gift for yourself or someone you love.
