Used Audemars Piguet Watches

In 1875, Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Piguet went into partnership and set up a company called Audemars Piguet. Having both previously worked as watchmakers, the pair quickly got to work on creating their own brand. Based in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, Audemars Piguet’s first major achievement was the creation of the first repeater watch in 1892. Because of the exquisite attention to detail and precision work, Audemars Piguet watches quickly became synonymous with luxury and quality, and owning one often seen as a symbol of status and wealth. The first skeleton watch, where the mechanical workings of the watch are on show, was created by the company in 1928. In 1972, the brand became even more popular thanks to the creation of the Royal Oak, a luxury sports watch. The company remains at the forefront of innovation, constantly developing new styles that appeal to watch lovers. As Audemars Piguet watches continue to be seen as one of the finest watch brands in the world, many people still clamour to get their hands on one of their timepieces. However, you could be the proud owner of a Royal Oak thanks to Mark Worthington Jewellers collection of pre-owned Audemars Piguet watches.
