We generally offer two different warranties, dependent on whether a watch is supplied as unworn or worn.
Unworn Watches:
Most unworn watches are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. When some of the original warranty has elapsed it is our policy to warranty the watch ourselves to ensure the customer benefits from the same level of warranty they would expect if buying from a high street authorised dealership (such warranties are normally for 2 years). In the event of a watch needing to be returned under manufacturers warranty we advise that customers contact us first as we are able to have work carried out more rapidly for clients.
Pre-owned Worn Watches:
Watches that have been worn and have had a previous owner are all subject to our exclusive 12 month mechanical warranty. However, certain pre-owned worn watches will still have the balance of the original manufacturers warranty, which is some cases will exceed 12 months.
Conditions of the 12 Month Mark Worthington Jewellers Mechanical Warranty:
- The warranty does NOT cover accidental damage, batteries, the strap or the buckle. Our warranty is considered void if the crystal lens has been broken or if the watch shows signs of water damage, impact or misuse.
- The warranty becomes void if the back of the watch is opened within the warranty period without the authorisation of Mark Worthington Jewellers Ltd. Your 12 month warranty is with ourselves and all warranty returns MUST be sent to us.
